Stainless steels stripping
The purpose of chemical etching is to decontaminate stainless steel surfaces after shaping operations (welding, grinding etc.). These operations alter and pollute the protective layer of chromium oxide. To avoid a start of corrosion, the oxide layer must be dissolved by chemical etching. The chemical stripping guarantees a restoration of the treated surfaces, in order to preserve their resistance and their longevity.
Which techniques for stainless steel pickling
Stainless steel can be stripped using several methods.
- This pickling can be done by immersion in our workshops or by spraying according to the configuration of the parts
- The stripping operation of the networks at our customers is carried out by circulation inside the networks, by sprinkling, spraying or streaming in the capacities.
Depending on your constraints and the configuration of your facilities, our teams will offer you the most suitable solution.
Our chemical stripping processes are used in compliance with the required standards and specifications. Our sites are equipped with state-of-the-art effluent treatment plants that meet the strictest regulations in order to respect and protect our environment.
